Frequently Asked Questions

We’ve put together this list of frequently asked questions for your convenience, but please feel free to call us with any questions or concerns you may have.


How does it all work?

Within 15 minutes of hearing from you, we’ll contact you with the information you need. Together, we’ll figure out what size container will be required, pricing, timing and so forth. Then we deliver your pod to you where you can fill it up at a pace that suits you. 


Can you help us pack?

If you like, we can help you pack and move the items to the container.


Will your team bring boxes, tape, bubble wrap and so forth?

We can sell you any kind of packing supplies you need when we drop off your storage container. You can purchase – or even rent – PacMan straps, tie downs, bungles, and moving blankets. 


Will we need a ramp?

No! The beauty of our containers is they’re at ground level. 


How safe will our belongings be in the container?

Your container will be equipped with tie-downs, steel locking latches, and a lock and key. What’s more, our all-steel pods can withstand a category 4 hurricane.


Do you offer insurance?

We can offer you insurance to cover your contents while in the container, in travel or when stored at our facility. Depending on the value of your items, you may want to purchase additional insurance on top of what our insurance covers.


Can I get to my stuff if you store it?

You can access your container at our facility just like it’s at your house. You will have full access to your container 7 days per week, 24 hours per day with just a two-hour call ahead notice so we can pull your container out and have it ready for you.  After hours (5pm - 8am) and on weekends, we will need a four-hour call ahead.


How long can we keep the container? 

You can keep the container on your property for as long as you need, we can pick it up and store it for you, or we can move it to your new property. When you’re done with the container, we’ll remove it promptly.


We’re currently getting our house ready to put up for sale. Our agent tells us the more uncluttered it looks, the better. Do people rent storage containers for this purpose?



PacMan Storage Packing Tips

  • Distribute your items evenly. Spread out heavy items and large furniture .
  • Put item you’ll need to use sooner (that first night at the new location) at the front of your container for easy access (i.e., bathroom items, bedding, clothing, etc.)
  • Keep important documents such as birth certificates, passports, vehicle titles and medical records with you instead of packing them in the container.
